Our son recently asked my husband, who is a Geologist, and me to make a presentation about 'rocks' (my husbands word) and crystals to our his class of 5th graders.
Working side by side with my husband as we each prepared to present our point of view to the kids was fun. My husband had geologic maps out, and a giant heavy box of uncut hunks of rock. He decided to talk to the kids about land use as it relates to geology.
I, on the other hand, had aromatherapy misting in the office (for concentration), my dumortierite in hand (for intellectual clarity), as I leafed through my favorite crystal books thining about the best way to get the kids to connect to the energy of their own bodies, and how crystals can help them.
In the end, I chose two songs to play for the kids and asked them how the songs made them feel (who let the dogs out, and silent night). Like music, I explained, the vibrations that come from crystals can impact our energetic body.
Then we talked about EMFs and how they can overload our system. We talked about ways to ground our energetic bodies.
I have to admit, I also kinda wanted to be memorable so I grabbed a large handful of crystals to let the kids choose from. Take-home gifts from a presentation always make it more fun!
